The disposable blood transfusion set is used to save patients with hemorrhage or for blood transfusion during surgery. It can be discarded after use to avoid cross-infection and ensure safe use. Operation Steps
1. Check whether the packaging of each product is well sealed, check the product model, and the specification of the intravenous needle meets the requirements.
2. Tear off the small package, pull out the protective sleeve of the bottle insertion needle, and insert the bottle insertion needle into the sterilized blood transfusion bottle stopper.
3. Hang the blood transfusion bottle upside down, loosen the flow regulator, and close the flow regulator after exhausting the air in the catheter.
4. Put the intravenous needle (injection needle) into the vein according to the aseptic method and fix it.
5. Gradually loosen the flow regulator and observe the blood drop until the required speed.
Methods of Operation
(1) Clamp the root of the plastic tube with hemostatic forceps, routinely sterilize it, cut it with sterile scissors 1cm under the rubber sheath, then insert all the thick needles of the blood transfusion set into the broken end, and push down the rubber tube. The plastic tube can be fixed with tape for one week.
(2) Routinely sterilize the plastic tube, with the end as the center, insert the thick needle of the blood transfusion set along the end of the plastic tube, and then push down the rubber sleeve to fix the needle.
These two methods are equally applicable to blood products such as bagged platelets and bagged plasma.
Precautions
1. This product is sterile, has no heat source, is only for one-time use, and is destroyed after use.
2. The aseptic validity period is 3 years from the date of sterilization, and it must be used within the validity period.
3. Store in a clean, cool, dry, well-ventilated, and clean environment with a relative humidity of no more than 80%, no corrosive gas.
4. The packaging is damaged and the protective cover is off and it is forbidden to use it.
Blood Transfusion Implementation
(1) The dropping funnel should be able to continuously observe the droplets. The liquid should pass through the dropper inserted into the dropping funnel. The distance between the end of the dropping funnel and the outlet of the dropping funnel should not be less than 40mm, otherwise, the distance between the dropper and the blood and blood components should be filtered should not be less than 20mm.
The distance between the inner wall of the dropping funnel and the outer wall of the end of the dropper should not be less than 5nm. Under the condition of 23℃±2℃ and the flow rate of 50 drops/min, the dripping pipe should drop 20 or 60 drops of distilled water, which should be 1ml±0.1ml (1g±0.1g).
(2) The drip bucket should be able to introduce the blood in the blood transfusion container into the blood transfusion set by virtue of its elasticity.
(3) The flow regulator should be able to adjust the liquid flow from zero to the maximum, and its adjustment stroke should not be less than 30mm.
(4) The blood transfusion set should be able to output no less than 1000ml of blood within 30 minutes under a static pressure head of 1m and a blood temperature of 23°C±2°C. At a pressure of 30kPa higher than the atmospheric pressure, it should be able to output no less than 500ml of blood within 2 minutes.
